Gdansk City

Gdansk city centre is around a 30min taxi ride away from the airport. The city its self has wide pedestrian streets lined with boutique shops and restaurants, which are very expensive. A local bus can take you to the ferry terminal near Westerplatte, which has a remarkable WW2 memorial (free entry). The bus will take you through some unsavoury looking areas, but don't panic.
