Civitavecchia

Six hours after leaving the Sardinian port of Olbia you arrive in the Italian port of Civitavecchia, the Port of Rome; a lovely seaside town often overlooked by its famous capital city. Civitavecchia has its own train station within walking distance of the port, though allow an hour to do this, with direct access to Rome on great two deck highspeed trains.
