Scotland to Ireland

Located on the bank of Loch Ryan is Cairnryan, essentially an attractive small village with a port attached; a coach service operates from Glasgow to Cairnryan which takes several hours but offers a comfortable cost effective journey with great views of the passing countryside.

P&O Ferries operate from the 'old port' to Larne in northern Ireland whilst Stena Line operate from the 'new port' to Belfast.
